PhD in Physics with 25 years experience of building ophthalmic devices, research and bench to bedside transitions.

Georg is identifeye HEALTH's Head of Product, Device R&D. Prior to joining identifeye HEALTH, Georg led multiple product developments in the ophthalmic device space for large corporations like JnJ and Abbott but also for smaller startups as Optimedica and Clarity Vision. He is a prolific inventor and has authored and co-authored numerous publications in the ophthalmic field and is currently the conference Co-chair of the SPIE Ophthalmic Technology conference - the largest technology conference in the eye care space. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Luebeck, Germany and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University.
